Charlotte – have you ever read a Fred Vargas novel? I think you would enjoy her writing. Also Alan Bennett “The Uncommon Reader” is great fun.
I just saw on your booklist that you also have read “When Will There Be Good News” by Kate Atkinson. How did you find it? It hasn’t captivated me, yet, and I keep putting it down.
I need to know- are these the only books you read or do you have a secret genre list with the non-respectable book:).
No these are what I read, though I have fallen behind on my list. I’ve got another 30+ to add. The only genre fiction I really like is crime, and I’m sure there must be a couple of crime novels in here somewhere!
